Inspired Message Given April 6, 2003
Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, Mexico
With tears flowing and through trembling lips, Merlyn Williams delivered the
following words to the Hill Cumorah Expedition Team at a communion service
held Sunday April 6, 2003 at our hotel in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, Mexico.
In days of old we used to say, “Thus saith the Lord.” I say this morning, “Thus
saith the Lord.”
“It is I, Jesus, who speaks to you this morning, and Moroni. You
have all shared in your talents and dedication, and I am well pleased
with your desires. It is I who gave you your talents.
Your work this week is acceptable to me. You have succeeded this
week, and the time is not quite yet. It is I who did not allow you in
the cave.
Be dedicated and plan again, for this work is to go forth to the
world. It is I, Jesus, who leads you.”
